chicken kothu parotta

Here's a basic recipe to make chicken kothu parotta:

Ingredients:

- 4-5 parottas (you can make your own or buy ready-made ones)

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

- 1 onion, finely chopped

- 2 tomatoes, finely chopped

- 2 green chilies, chopped (adjust according to your spice preference)

- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste

- 1 teaspoon red chili powder

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder

- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

- Salt to taste

- 2 tablespoons oil

- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

- Lemon wedges for serving

  Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a large pan or kadai over medium heat.

2. Add the chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté until the onions turn translucent.

3. Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for another minute until the raw smell disappears.

4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

5. Add the shredded chicken to the pan and mix well with the onion and tomato mixture.

6. Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix everything together and cook for a few minutes to let the flavors combine.

7. Meanwhile, take the parottas and tear them into small pieces. You can use your hands or a knife to shred them.

8. Once the chicken is cooked and the spices are well incorporated, add the shredded parottas to the pan. Mix everything together so that the chicken and spices coat the parotta well.

9. Keep stirring and cooking the mixture for a few minutes until the parotta is heated through and well combined with the chicken and spices.

10. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.

11. Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy Your Meal 💕
